Above is an example of a "Smart Box" for WordPress Thesis.  The avatar/gravatar and author information will be parsed from whom ever is signed in and posting the article.  It's a cute little custom package that can save you space and give your site a cleaner look.  All links are hard coded making the load time very quick, unlike your standard social share plugins and such.  The main purpose of creating this all-in-one "Smart Box", was to eliminate as many plugins I could.  Having too many plugins is the leading cause of a slow loading site.  If you can get your plugin count down to around 10 or less, you'll notice a huge difference.  In the example above, I was able to eliminate 3 plugins by hard coding the "Smart Box"  into a client's custom_function.php and custom.css.  If you'd like a custom "Smart Box" on your Thesis site, the price is $30 dollars installed and is not limited to what you see here.  Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you.
